It was a great price and shipped quickly! For an 11 year old, we had to do some trimming to make it fit, but the guard had marks for easy customization. Took a few tries to make it mold, but it will work for this years wrestling season so it's money well spent!

All around great dummy... Seems to be built solid and durable, probably as close as you can get to a perfect throw/ground and pound/grappling dummy on the market (because it mixes all these things). The price for this is great as well, would recommend to anyone wanting to improve their ground game.

I have been boxing for 8 years (sparring three times a week), and my first pair of Century gloves have 'just' worn out.Other people I have boxed with have had to replace their non-Century gloves two sometimes three times since I have had my one pair.The velcro was the first to wear out on my old Century gloves.The one thing I didn't like about the first pair, was that the inner lining eroded around year three, and the foam would come out.At the end of life, the outer red lining started to split, but again this is after 8 years of abuse.I was so excited to purchase my second pair.I love this line of gloves and highly recommend it.

Bolt sheared off installing item in joist using a 3/8" ratchet.If the rest of item is as weak as the bolts, it's not worth a dime.States use is for 100 lb. heavy bag, yet can't even screw bolt in wood, you figure it out.TKO should be embarrassed for having such a product.
I really like this particular mouth guard as it protects booth the top and bottom teeth. It also had a hole in the front which allows for easy breathing.
I just recieved my bag today. After spending about an hour and a half carefully filling it up with rag stuffing salvaged from other old bags I got in about a 10 minute workout before the zipper on the top failed and stuffing started to pop out. I hadn't overfilled the bag either, it was still a little loose towards the top. I'm going to stich the zipper shut and keep using it, but I imagine something else will break or tear soon do to the shoddy material and stiching. I would definitely not buy this again after using it, and I plan on replacing it with something from a different company when it inevitably falls apart.
the black rebreakable board is the strongest, and it is roughly equal in strength to a normal board you probably use in class.It's a cheap alternative to real boards.If you train in hard style martial arts, get it.
I also ordered this bag because it was advertised that "the exclusive Gel lining delivers an unbeatable layer of impact resistance for the pinnacle in striking sensation".It is not impact resistant at all.It is like hitting a rock. The thin layer of gel is a joke.My joints were aching after hitting it only a few times (with proper gloves on).The product description also says, "Once you hit this bag you will never go back to a regular heavy bag again."On the contrary, I will never hit this bag again. Now I have to return it and I just got the shipping quote at $85 because Title doesn't pay for return shipping even when customers are not satisfied with their products. Wow.
Awesome! I just received the Warrior throwing dummy/heavy bag today. I have seen several different training dummies over the years (my friend/training partner has a Bubba dummy), but the Warrior dummy is the first one I've seen that can be hung like a heavy bag, or used for throws, armbar drills, shoot-style takedowns, ground and pound, limb destructions, etc etc. The dummy is made of really thick material with reinforced stitching, and the hoops that he can be hung from are stitched from the top of the head clear down to the hips. I'm very impressed with how well this thing is made! When hanging like a heavy bag, the dummy's arms are in a pretty good position to simulate an actual opponent. The ends of the arms are balled like fists which is pretty realistic and good for training hand/limb destructions, and grabbing above the 'fist' gives a realistic grip point which feels just like grabbing a person's wrist for certain throws (one-arm hip throws, maki-komi, etc). I bought the 100 pound dummy; it says on the Amazon listing that it is 68" tall, but mine is marked (and measures) 72" tall. And it is DEFINATELY 100 pounds! A good session of throws with this guy will make for a great workout! These things aren't dirt cheap, but are worth the investment if you are into martial art training. I'm 40 years old now, and to be honest the benefit of a training dummy becomes more apparent with age...now my training partners and I can work some technique on each other for skill honing (because NO dummy is exactly like working against 'live' opponents), then go nuts on the dummy for repetition work. Ahhh. Call me wimpy, but taking hard repetitive throws for an hour seems to hurt a little more nowadays...so I'm very happy with this dummy and recommend it! A great aid for training and teaching!
As I was trying to decide which speed bag to get, I browsed a great site call Speed Bag Central. This is a great site featuring great experts who show how to work the speed bag and where to go to get the best products for one's speed bagging enjoyment. And one of the speed bag they recommend is this one-- The Fighting Sports Speed Bag. I Love it! This is a perfectly rounded speed bag that's excellent for working out your rebounds and rhythms. It's so soft and leathery. The bladder blows up real fine and the bag itself is all well stitched. This is a great choice. Far better than the other prominent brands out there like Everlast and TKO. The only problem is that this bag has a slightly wider loop that could pose a wee little problem in hanging the bag onto a small to mediocre-wide size swivel, like the ones made by Everlast. But if you can scrunch that loop into the swivel peg just fine, then it would be no problem in hanging this speed bag just before you give it a good pounding. This is one of the Speed Bag Central's most favorite bags to workout on. So is my favorite and so it should be your favorite, too. Buy it!
I use these strictly for the double end bag and they are exactly what I needed- just a piece of leather between your knuckles and the bag.
I actually found mine used on ebay for a fraction of this price but believe me the price on amazon is the best around expecially as it's NEW. My only other heavy bag experience was with a vinyl type cover (a friend let me borrow it) and it was plenty sturdy but I was unsure of how the canvas would stand up to the elements as I didn't have room in the house and would have to keep mine outside (I cover it with a tarp so it doesn't get wet).Well over 1 year later my Everlast 70# canvas bag is just as strong as the first day I got it!If you have doubts, let them end here and take the plunge, you'll be glad you did.
Toy itself is fun, but the screws never stay tight and has to be monitored when child is using it so it doesn't come apart.
Bought this cause it enables you to use "u bolts" to mount on pole but am dissappointed in the lack of engineering for that purpose as to be stable whilst taking a pounding. Plus it has a flange on the end of the horizontal rail that there is no apparent function. It appears that this is made from spare parts of some other monstrocity like the strecher that they STUPIDLY sent me first that I had to deal with returning all 50 lbs of. Also, the cheap particle board "backboard will never be adequate and have to be backedup with 3/4 plywood at least. What a joke. I debated sending it back too but, decided I would beef it up as mentioned because it came down to the mounting means verses price; I MEAN 80 BUCKS IS A LOT TO SPEND ON A COUPLE OF MOUNTING BRACKETS that I could also have just as well fabricated. Anyway, Ido not recommend peddlers and/or "drop shippers of gym equiptment or, anything for that matter where the customer service flunky gets arrogant and, unapoligetic about the shipper's incompetance.And, behaves rudly dodging blame by reassigning mistake and is somehow the buyer's because the chowder headed customer service dude does not identify his outgoing email therefore getting lost with regards whos who..

I purchased 2 of these items for my son for his birthday(along with the rocky inflatable boxing bag too). This was an excellent investment! He immediately took to wanting to box with his sister, and then the neighbor boy too. All 3 of the children took their time rotating the 2 sets of gloves around so they would all get time to play, and no one got hurt from them. The children had an incredibly fun time with this. The only thing is, if you use an electronic pump then the bag and the gloves have a tendency to deflate a bit...but once i refilled them all with out the pump(by blowing them up myself) they stayed inflated for weeks until i decided to deflate them myself to put them a way for a bit. Overall, I'd say this is an awesome gift for any one who has children that doesn't shy away from play boxing.
Way over paid for what it is.I would have spent a lot less and gotten a better product by just going to the local hardware store and purchasing the individual pieces that make up the product.They should charge less for this assembled unit, or at least give you free shipping.On this one, a waste of money.
If your into working out and you're looking for a great device to use to keep you in shape when you cant get to the gym. I Highly recommend The Burn Machine! I believe all those who take there fitness and time as serious as I do should get one of these! You won't regret it!
A couple of months ago i decided to get what i thought at-the-time to be a prfessional speed bag swivel. Wrong! To make a long story short i purchased the platinum speed bag swivel and within two weeks of light training the threads started to show wear and tear. During one workout the swivel simply slipped free from the base and almost hit me in the face. Luckily i wasn't injured. Anyways, i ended up shipping it back to the manufacture at my expense and within a short period of little to no training the threads on the new one also gave out. My friend who is a machinist with 30+ years in the field also agrees that poor craftsmanship and materials are used to make this swivel.
I don't understand how Amazon let's the seller get away with this!They charge 13.95 for the product and $25.00 for shipping?!? Its a $4.00 ship anywhere else..
Ok, I wanted to get in shape.But didn't want to run treadmill on my off days because it bores me to death.I was doing reviews on line and it said you could get a total body workout with just a jump rope & a heavy bag.So I thought, hey what the heck.I did some reviews and ended up buying a 100 lb heavy bag some gloves and a jump rope and was ready to rock.Wrong....I had Horrible form, didn't know what I was doing and was winded after beating the bag up (Ok the bag was beating me up)And I sprained one of my my wrist because of improper punching.
Bought this bag over a month 1/2 ago since they were out of the real double end bag i wanted which is a Title Double Double end bag has both the top and bottom bag to hit. So I went with this one to hold me over till the one i wanted came and let me tell ya this bag rocks. Very solid very stable and high qaulity leather n stitching! There's two sizes you can choose from when ordering from Title the 7' and 9' I went with the 7' since i have previous training and this bag is fast! IT's good to teach you to keep your hands up and build strong shoulders and hand eye coordination. Now I just wait for the double double end bag to come cuase i hate just practicing hitting the head i wanna work the body too!!! For this price this bag cannot be beat.

I fretted for a while before buying this product because the pictures available on the web were limited to a frontal view which did not show as much detail as I wanted. Also the price was a little more than the alternative I was researching the "Valor Athletics (CA-2)".The CA-2 looked very much like the platform I used years ago when I was younger and into boxing and karate but ultimately I selected the TKO 523CPL because it seemed much sturdier and I wanted to minimize the amount of vibration. While I looked at a couple of providers on the web, I have had a good experiencewith Amazon over the years so in case this went sideways I wanted them involved.Therefore I decided to ordered the product through Amazon "Bayou Fitness was the vendor" on Dec 27th, 2009 and received it on Dec 31st which was pretty quick.The box it shipped in had obviously received significant trauma during shipping and was torn on one side and crushed in a few spots. I immediately called Bayou Fitness before opening the box just in case I had to pre-notify them to prove it was potentially damaged in shipping.They were not open for business at the time I called and so I decided not to wait and opened the box anyway. Fortunately nothing was missing or seriously damaged albeit the wood platform had a couple of cosmetic dings on one edge. The installation was pretty straight forward and I mounted the wood platform so the dings were to the back.This is a very solid, well built platform and I have no perceptible vibration which means I get good and consistent rebound off the platform whether I am directly in front or working the bag from the side.This translates to lots of speed and a consistent response from the bag.I am pleased with my purchase.
I've had my freestanding bag for about 3 or 4 weeks now and I absolutely love it!You can punch, kick, and elbow this thing until you're out of breath.I put 250lbs of sand in the base and it is very sturdy (cheap too - sand is only about $4 per 50lb bag @ Lowes where I live).There is some minimal shifting if you stand in the same spot and pound away on it, but if you dance around the bag a bit and use some footwork - any movement cancels itself out from side to side (using this movement gives you a lot better workout anyways).I weigh just over 200lbs myself and I can lay into my punches and kicks with all my weight and power and it still holds strong.Delivery was quick and the packaging was appropriate.I would definitely recommend this bag to anyone - especially for use with martial arts and kickboxing training.
I like this DVD because the exercise routine shown in the video is accurate. I like the drills and they really build up speed and stamina. I haven't watched the whole video yet, so i'm not sure about the part relating to power building. As far as speed is concerned the drills in the video are efficient.
Easy to set up.It's a great addition to my workout because I alternate between jumping rope & punching the bag.
This is a pretty nice bag.After using this bag for a couple of weeks, it has held up well and I have experienced no problems.It is solid and the stuffing seems pretty uniform.
I bought this bully for my kids and they have been using it for over a year.We filled the base with water and it's plenty heavy enough for them.At its shortest, my 2-year-old can reach up to punch it and my 8-year-old still has a few levels to go before she outgrows it.This was a great choice for our kids.
I am a practitioner of the martial arts. I needed something that could withstand punches and kicks. Something, that could survive the test of time. This heavy bag isn't that something....the bag ripped after less than one week! I contacted the seller, and they helped only to send the bag back; to say nothing about refunding me. I have had to take my argument up with (oh boy) the manufacturer. I am currently without a bag and the funds I paid for it! Don't buy this bag, you'll regret it!
I just got these gloves today and they are much more comfortable than other gloves i have worn in the past. They feel great look amazing and there from a collection of the Greatest boxer that has ever lived. And amazon is the place to buy these from I live in the UK and it was a bit more expensive in the long run to get them shipped over hear but they got to me in two days. So all in all 5 stars great product, great service.
my 7 year old is a huge rocky fan so when i seen this i feel in love with it. he loves it as well it is better than any you will find in the stores if you buy the matching gloves this is a must!
This toy is more than a novelty.It is solidly constructed and stands up to the abuse of the stress relief it is used for.The suction cup does not hold it well if you are truly wailing on it, but this is easily remedied by duct taping it down.
I bought this for my nephews in another state and Amazon drop shipped it with no problems.I haven't seen it in action yet, but my their mom is happy with it!
Our tackle buddy lasted about 45 minutes..A neighbor kid picked him up, swung him around and the sand bag tore loose leaving a two inch hole in the bottom...I have repaired with duct tape, but now he does not bounce back up...time willtell if the duct tape holds...too bad, a little better design and this would be great...the kids loved hitting it while it lasted...
