It was a great price and shipped quickly! For an 11 year old, we had to do some trimming to make it fit, but the guard had marks for easy customization. Took a few tries to make it mold, but it will work for this years wrestling season so it's money well spent!
I ordered these for a teen who wanted them.I don't know what sport for which he will use them. The photo makes them look like leather, but they are vinyl. They came in a large size, though no size choices were offered by the seller.
$844 is an INSANE price for this. You can get this bag for less than $300 new!
Awesome! I just received the Warrior throwing dummy/heavy bag today. I have seen several different training dummies over the years (my friend/training partner has a Bubba dummy), but the Warrior dummy is the first one I've seen that can be hung like a heavy bag, or used for throws, armbar drills, shoot-style takedowns, ground and pound, limb destructions, etc etc. The dummy is made of really thick material with reinforced stitching, and the hoops that he can be hung from are stitched from the top of the head clear down to the hips. I'm very impressed with how well this thing is made! When hanging like a heavy bag, the dummy's arms are in a pretty good position to simulate an actual opponent. The ends of the arms are balled like fists which is pretty realistic and good for training hand/limb destructions, and grabbing above the 'fist' gives a realistic grip point which feels just like grabbing a person's wrist for certain throws (one-arm hip throws, maki-komi, etc). I bought the 100 pound dummy; it says on the Amazon listing that it is 68" tall, but mine is marked (and measures) 72" tall. And it is DEFINATELY 100 pounds! A good session of throws with this guy will make for a great workout! These things aren't dirt cheap, but are worth the investment if you are into martial art training. I'm 40 years old now, and to be honest the benefit of a training dummy becomes more apparent with age...now my training partners and I can work some technique on each other for skill honing (because NO dummy is exactly like working against 'live' opponents), then go nuts on the dummy for repetition work. Ahhh. Call me wimpy, but taking hard repetitive throws for an hour seems to hurt a little more nowadays...so I'm very happy with this dummy and recommend it! A great aid for training and teaching!
this is a great heavy bag, si huge, the material is great, now you can trainning strong.
For a lightweight bag this started out ok. I could live with the fact that it tended to slide across my garage floor (incentive to keep moving I expect...) Unfortunately, after only a few months of use, when kicking the bag now falls to the lowest setting. If you are going to spend the money, buy the full-sized wavemaster, not the one with the adjustable height.
I bought this for my 6 year old for Christmas.He is a beginner in Tae Kwan Do and I thought it would be perfect for him to practice at home with.While the unit appears to be sturdy enough, a minimal amount of pressure causes the brittle plastic arms to shear off at the base.Three of the 4 arms are now broken off with very light use.Do yourself a favor and buy one of the heavy bags.Another aggravation, trying to contact the manufacturer after the first arm broke off, looking for replacement mounting brackets.Good luck to anyone trying to track down anyone from this company!!
I've had the 7" bag a three weeks now and have used it 3-4 times a week. So far so good. It comes deflated, so you'll need a pump with a needle-- uses the same needle a basketball does. Considering the price its a pretty good quality product, and I have absolutely no complaints so far.
I purchased this bag for my 6 year old, so he could have another avenue to expend energy during the cold winter months.He is too big for all the "kid" bags that are sold - most are inflatable and bottom weighted with sand - and he can just annihilate one of those in minutes.

Pros: Cheap, Quality built
These are the worst gloves I have ever worn.A little work on the heavy bag made my hands feel like they were about to break.The gel is way to hard and does not protect the hands at all.It is downright painful to wear these golves.The felt good at first and fit well.I liked how they protected the wrists but they killed the knuckles and tops of my hands.
Production quality of this DVD is ok, but the quality of the content is terrific!Note that this is geared towards beginners and fitness (vs. competitive) boxers, and more experienced boxers will find it a little too basic.
Title cancelled the double end bag portion of the order but, chose to send the kit anyway. Useless without the bag. It looked to me like they didn't want to honor the price as advertised on Amazon.
This is all around an excellent product.I've used many variations of reflex back over the years.This one is by far the best.The general construction is flawless and well designed to take a pounding.I train at my home most of the time which is where I have mine installed, but this would be an excellent addition to the professional gym as well.In particular, the attachment system is well thought out for most situations. The only downside I came across with this is that in my case I cannot leave it up all the time.I had to come up with a quick release system for the bag.This may not be a common scenario in most cases for a reflex bag, so I didn't ding the product over all for this minor shortcoming.Again, great product over all and well worth the price if you want quality.
This product would not hold air for even one day.But I was able to return it with no problem.
It's pretty much everything it says it is. Works great and gives a great workout. The only thing you might want to keep in mind is if you're planning on putting it in your garage or basement and have concrete floors, you'll need a "portable" anchor rather than screwed anchors. I have been a chinese martial arts and kickboxing practitioner for around 5 years now and I bought this bag to use at home for combo drills and workouts.I guess I should have seen it coming but the stand snapped just above the base during my second workout.I train to generate power which means I don't tap the bag, I actually hit it.So if you plan to use the bag for anything other than basic cardio work, don't bother.
This is a great Everlast product and while there may be better desktop speedbags out there, none of them have the licensing of Rocky i am sure. I stuck it to my ceiling and have not had it fall off once from lots of usage from friends and family. Aside from the air pump being cheap, this is a solid purchase for any boxing or Rocky fan.Off topic but does anyone know why it won't let me list this item? Does Amazon randomely remove products from its inventory?
I bought this item in December and by May the straps became completely separated from the bag as all the stitching completely unraveled. It is no longer usable and certainly not worth the money I wasted. I used this bag three times per week for about 25 minutes. I weigh 165 and I am 47 years old. I am not an athlete by any means. This bag should have held up a lot better. There is no reason for the stitching to unravel. I contacted the seller , but its now outside of the 30 days. This bag should have lasted a few years not a few months.
