You fill the bottom with water for weight, then blow top up with air.One afternoon with my 5 year old and the water compartment sprung a leak and now flows around the entire inside of the hbag so that it will no longer stand up.It just rolls around on the floor.I'm thankful that it didn't spill all over the floor.
